Solenoids open frame

Transmotec open frame type solenoids are an economic manufacturing option in which the solenoid bobbin is wound on a cylinder stabilized on a bent metal frame. In difference to our tubular solenoids the open frame type does not have the same performance but is often also selected for mechanical reasons.

We welcome to tailor or customize your solenoids to meet the requirements specified in your purchase order. You are also invited to select from our standard range and we keep many types in stock.

Data for open frame solenoids
• Insulation grade: A (105 °C), wire A (105 °C)
• Temperature rise: 65 °C continuous, 40 °C ambient with cooling flange
• Isolation resistance: > 100M ohm 500 VDC
• Dielectric strength: AC1000V 50/60Hz 1 minute
• Operating temp. range: -20 °C ~ + 40 °C
• Life expectancy: Standard life 2.000.000 cycles or more
• Total weight: 5.4-1090g
